PICKLEBALL XMAS CUP 'SANTAS' VS 'ELVES' - 21 DECEMBER 2021
We had 36 people taking part in our first Pickleball Xmas Cup – ‘Santas’ vs ‘Elves’ – at North Shore Country Club. The ‘Santas’ won 35 compared to the ‘Elves’ 34. It was a great fun night enjoyed by all. You may or may not recognise Steve (our Pickleball hero) in his Santa top with the fake arm tattoos and red sparkly hat !

ross sawatzky tournament - 31 january 2021
North Shore Country Club hosted the inaugural Sawatzky Cup, run by the Northern Districts Tennis Association. The tournament is named after former North Shore Country Club president and NDTA stalwart Ross Sawatzky, who sadly passed away aged just 48, almost a year to the day from ah hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, a very rare disease. This event raised funds for the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.
