Larry Hirsch

NSCC President

This is the third time that Larry Hirsch has been President of the Club – the first time following Rob Johnson in 2006.

Larry is passionate about our Club and his tennis – and you will regularly find him at the Club shouting the “C’ mon North Shore!” war cry, often accompanied by his pet Bernese Mountain Dog, Nanook.

Larry is also President of NDTA ( Northern Districts Tennis Association).
Larry is also active in the community has been the Past President of The Rotary Club of Perth in 2016/7.  He also serves as Chairman of Rotary Means Business and is the Commodore of the International Yachting Fellowship of Rotarians (“IYFR”)WA Fleet.

Larry has a successful local finance broking business.

Philippa “Pippa” Hart is a former Registered Nurse and owner of several small businesses including a café.

A fitness, tennis and gym enthusiast with a passion for cooking and the hospitality industry who loves watching people socializing and enjoying good food.

Ben Hocking

Coaching Director

Ben has been involved in the tennis scene for more than 15 years. He first started playing tennis at the age of 13, and it wasn’t long before he knew this was the sport for him. Ben has more than 6 years international coaching experience. He is a Tennis Australia qualified coach as well as being ATPCA and PTR (Professional Tennis Registry) certified. Ben has coached both in the UK and the USA, working with some of America’s top juniors at Windridge Tennis Camp (voted a top ten tennis camp in America). Ben loves coaching children of all ages and abilities. He also provides quality coaching programmes for adults, from beginners to advance.

Michael King

Head Assistant Coach

Michael has been teaching tennis for more than 20 years. He works with everyone from beginner to performance level.

He is a fully qualified LTA level 3, PTR instructor and RPT national professional coach with a passion for teaching. Michael has won many LTA rating tournaments in the UK.

Since he moved to Australia, Michael continues to compete playing pennants. He looks forward to seeing you all on court soon.
